| Tuscarawas County 911 call center representatives contacted Next Industries to help them with a problem. As with most crisis centers, 911 emergency call centers rely on concise clear communications during chaotic situations. The background ambiance of noise increases exponentially during times of heavy call volume and large crisis moments. The 911 center needed a way to minimize the distractive nature of all the commotion. echoshield™ Pro series acoustic panels custom designed to handle voice range frequency absorption were placed around the perimeter of the facility to minimize the first order reflections of sound which previously reflected back towards operator workstations. This now allows the operators to more clearly understand the callers to the center. By minimizing the perceived ambient sound levels to the operators ear that is not covered by a headset, the operator can focus more clearly on the call. |
